Honor 5X Marshmallow update with EMUI 4.0 now rolling out

The Honor 5X is now receiving its Marshmallow update which also brings EMUI 4.0 along with it. As you'd expect, Marshmallow brings great new features like Doze, enhanced permission controls, Now on Tap and more to the phone, but that isn't all.

EMUI 4.0 brings its own set of changes, some of which include:

• Mission Control - An easier way to access your phone. When your screen is on standby, touch the screen in various motions to initiate different functions.
• Navigation Bar - Personalize your navigation experience by customizing the order of icons in your navigation bar.
• Drag Actions - Drag actions make it easy for you to view and hide the important things. Drag top down on left side to show notifications. When you drag top down on right side, we'll show you your shortcuts.
• One-Hand Mode - The One-Hand Mode alters the UI to make using your device with a single hand much easier. Simply swipe left or right at the button of screen to use your phone with your left or right hand only.

Honor has posted a full list of changes so if you want to see what else is included you can do so easily. To check for the update simply head into Settings, About device and check manually there. Be sure to let us know how it works out for you and what you think of the improvements to the UI.
