nexus 6 slow wifi download spees

Anyone have any idea why my download speeds on wifi are so horribly slow? I can do a test right next to my wife's galaxy s5 and her phone will download at 40 Mbps and my Nexus 6 will only do about 5 Mbps. I've restarted, turned on and off and still the same. It's really pathetic.
