Where to buy the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 in the UK

As expected, every major UK network will carry the Galaxy Note 7 — and it'll cost a pretty penny if you buy unlocked.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is official, and as expected all the major UK networks have announced that they'll be carrying the phone when it launches in early September. The official Samsung pre-order date is Aug 16, so that's when we can expect to see more details on pricing and colors form the UK carriers.

Vodafone

Vodafone is offering the Galaxy Note 7 in blue and black, with a free Gear VR for customers who pre-order by Aug. 28. Pre-order customers on Vodafone can also receive their Note 7 three days ahead of the official launch date of Sept. 2. Prices start at £37 per month (and £400 upfront) for a 500MB package. For a free Note 7, you're looking at paying £57 per month for a 12GB plan.

EE

EE will carry the Coral Blue and Black Onyx colour variants, but hasn't confirmed pricing or availability just yet.

O2

O2 also has the Note 7 in blue and black color options, with data plans from 500MB to 30GB. All O2's contract prices include an upfront fee of at least £9.99, with monthly prices ranging from £18 per month (for 1GB if you pay the entire cost of the device upfront) to £67 per month (for 30GB with the lowest £9.99 upfront charge.)

If you pay off the cost of the Note 7 upfront on O2 it'll cost you a hefty £777.99.

All Three's monthly plans for the Note 7 have the same £99 upfront charge, and come with a £50 Amazon gift card for your trouble.

Carphone Warehouse

Carphone is offering the Galaxy Note 7 in black and blue color options, with a free Gear VR headset for pre-order customers. Contract deals are with EE, O2 and Vodafone, as well as the retailer's own iD network. The cheapest plan available is on EE, which gets you a Note 7 with 500MB for £28.49 per month (and £400 upfront). Alternatively for the lowest upfront cost, you'll need to go with Vodafone and a 24GB plan for £52 per month, paying £9 upfront.

At the time of writing the retailer has no SIM-free price, nor any indication that it'll offer the Note 7 without a contract.

Samsung

Samsung UK itself has its Note 7 pre-order page live, however it's currently showing as out of stock in both blue and black colors. (This may just be a glitch, as it's still early days.) Samsung also offers the Note 7 on finance for 24 monthly payments of £31.92, with a deposit of £73.90.
