6P Pricing...post Pixel Announcement
I'm very interested in the Nexus 6P and I've been stalking the prices at both retailers and on Swappa. I know there are differences with purchasing from both, ie (return policy, manufacturer's warranty) but there is a benefit from both. I could go with the peace of mind and go through a retailer, or go for the big savings on a gently used on Swappa.
I'm thinking the Google announcement tomorrow will shake things up a bit and perhaps be the factor for many in deciding to move from the 6P to the Pixel XL. There are already a good amount on Swappa (64GB for just under $400). $340 is what I would pay, but who knows...maybe $300 would be the asking price for some. I guess I'll have to wait.
On the retail side, I don't see clearance type discounts any time soon. Maybe retailers will want to quickly clear out Nexus anything because its "discontinued" by Google. We all know that it has plenty of life left but what benefit would it have for retailers to keep it in stock? I would imagine that the Nexus line will quickly disappear from the Play Store as well. Any thoughts?
