Nexus 6P vs Pixel XL

I played with the new Pixel XL at the Verizon store and did my own quick speed test by opening up apps, loading web pages, and playing some videos and here are my results:
My 9 month old 6P was only milliseconds slower usually and sometimes faster in my tests. The speaker on the XL was good enough for me (though it was loud in the store so not the best place to test) and isn't a deal breaker. The real deal breaker is the price.
