Wallpaper for Texting (SMS)

I just purchased a new Nexus 6P after having used a HTC One M7. I'm amazed at how much technology has changed since I first brought it about 4 years ago.
Anyway, I've got it setup pretty much to my liking with the exception of the SMS wallpaper. It's very bland and nothing like what I had on the M7. That was a black background with pink bubbles for the messages and it was easy to set up. I am unable to figure out how I can change it on my Nexus. Can someone tell me if there is an app I can use to change this. Help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
