Nexus 6 PDF Files

When someone sends me an attachment to their email that has a pdf file I have been unable to open it on my phone. When I try to open it, I recieve a message that says "cannot find application to open file". When I go to my windows computer I am able to open the file. I have downloaded adoble and still no luck.

Any suggestions?
