Unlocked 6P on AT&T - will I still get Android updates quickly?

I'm currently on Project Fi and would like to stay on it but my wife insists on an Apple Iphone so it makes no sense for her to be on one plan and me on another. So I'm going to desubscribe from Fi and go over to her AT&T plan. Will I still get updates quickly or am I going to have to wait for AT&T to release them? Sorry if this is a dumb question. I'm currently on Beta and am running N4F260. What do you guys think?
