Destroy all the things in Warhammer 40K: Freeblade! [Best games from the AC community]

We want to know what games you're playing!

Updated March 19: In this week's edition, it's all about war! Jump into your mech in Warhammer 40k Freeblade! Use the force in Star Wars: Force Arena! And... get out the gardening trowel in Plants Vs. Zombies Heroes.

What games are you playing on your Android phones or tablets? We want to know!

We've started a thread in the AC Forums as a place to share your opinions on games you think more people should be playing. Look out for posts by me (Marc Lagace) and say hello! You can also comment below!

Warhammer 40k Freeblade

"TAKE COMMAND OF A WARHAMMER 40,000 IMPERIAL KNIGHT IN THE MOST ACTION-PACKED AND VISUALLY STUNNING ACTION GAME ON MOBILE."

Usually the headlines on Google Play game descriptions overstate the actual game, but man. Warhammer 40K: Freeblade absolutely delivers some of the most epic battles you'll ever play on an Android phone.

Based on the wildly popular tabletop game, this game is set in the year 40,000 and features kick-ass third-person action as you command your very own highly-weaponized mech suit, laying waste to everything in front of you. You don't need to be familiar with the source material here to enjoy the awesome rail shooter-style action that scales the awesome action down to your mobile.

Big thanks to both GF Wong and keith2k1 for recommending this game in the comments. I know I'll be spending some quality time with this game over the next few weeks.

Star Wars: Force Arena

I've said it before and I'll say it again — Star Wars: Force Arena is the best Star Wars mobile game you'll play on Android. Recommended by Iced2313, its a really fun game that's seen some subtle tweaks since its release that make it worth checking out for the first time, or checking back in if you haven't played it in a while.

For starters, there's more daily, weekly, and season play pack rewards to unlock so you'll always be able to knock off a few daily missions even if you only have time to play a few matches in your day. Battles are fairly balanced no matter whether you choose to fight for the Rebellion or join the Dark Side.

What's more, I've also set up an Android Central clan, so if you've yet to join a clan feel free to join ours!

Plants Vs. Zombies Heroes

Plants Vs. Zombies is one of those classic mobile games that pretty much everyone has played. I can still remember beating the first one after marathon sessions in university while I was supposed to be studying.

The latest game in the series, Plants vs. Zombies Heroes, adds some major tweaks to the tried and true PvZ formula. Collect and choose your team made up of 20 Plant and Zombie Heroes with unique super powers. From there, you build out the rest of your team from hundreds of different characters from the expanded Plants vs Zombies universe. Gameplay is different than you'll remember from the original games, but it's familiar enough that you'll pick it up right away.

This game was given a glowing recommendation by rudraksh95, who assures us that while there are in-game purchases included in this game, you don't need to spend a penny to reach the highest levels. We love hearing that, and look forward to meeting up with Crazy Dave and those sentient pea pods for another epic zombie battle.
