Nexus 5 stuck in a bootloop

I can turn the Nexus 5 on, the word "Google" comes up then disappears and will keep on repeating that process.

I can get to the Recovery mode screen but only for 1 second and it turns off.

Is it totally gone or can I do anything if I connect it to a PC ?
