mm-qcamera-daemon on Nexus 5x since Oreo upgrade

Hi... Please help... Battery draining since Oreo upgrade on Nexus 5x. Have uninstalled Skype and don't have Yahoo messenger. Only leaves messenger and WhatsApp left, but I need those! Have wiped partion cache via start up and don't know what to do... I have had a look look around and threads seem old and claim that a patch sorted this out for Nexus 5x users.... Any advice?
