Screen below the glass is cracked and black + there's a knocking noise coming from the phone

I have a Nexus 6. I accidentally dropped it, and the screen underneath the glass cracked, badly... I try turning it on, and it vibrates a little bit (like it does when the phone is turned on) but the screen itself remains black. Then after about 5 mins, it starts making a hollow knocking noise, which goes away after about 10 mins. Does anyone know what could be wrong? Do I have a chance at saving the phone?
