Can't root phone after October security patch
My Nexus 6 has been rooted and working just fine for me for a few years now. I originally used the Nexus Root Toolkit to do everything and up to this point it has always worked.
I recently grabbed the latest build NGI77B and installed it using the toolkit but now I cannot get the phone rooted again.
Has anybody else experienced this?
Any successful workarounds?
I've tried everything I know to do: reinstalled drivers, switched cables and ports.
The specific issue is that ADB recovery device cannot be found. Even after I update the drivers it still indicates that it cannot be found.
Any help would be appreciated.
