Where is the Gallery?

My Gallery isn't showing up. It's not in the app directory, and the Photos app doesn't show my videos. I have no third party camera app. The gallery has never shown up on my phone. The reason I want to see it is so I can trim my videos without a third-party app. I'm running a Nexus 5 6.0.1 Marshmallow.
